FCA and Velvet Elvis

Well, I think that this was a really good night. Kudos to the leadership of FCA at holy trinity academy. Blake did a great job leading us in worship. Chelsea, Brett, and Ryan. Sweet Job.

I talked about God (obviously), about how God invites us to jump on the trampoline of life. That a life with God is ultimatley an invitation to jump with him. It is about the joy of being free. Thanks to Rob Bell for this thought and idea. I'm currently reading hos book called "Velvet Elvis" it is an adventure in repainting the christian faith.

We are the church. Not the buildings. Not the business. Not the programs. But, simply us showing who God is to people (notice i didn't say tell), and ultimately inviting them to jump with us. Whew! that's Big.

tommorrow i cross all my t's and dot my i's to go to the Ukraine. Thanks to the ladies who prayed over me today. I can feel that peace still.
